April 1 - April 5 News!

Spelling:
Our spelling words when we get back from spring break will be on the prefixes im-, in-, and un-. Our test will be Friday, April 5.

English/Reading:
We will continue reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane when we get back from spring break.  The students are enjoying the book and we have been doing some open ended questions for more practice in writing while reading the story, these responses are getting better as we keep practicing them.  We will continue having a quiz after every 2 chapters in the book.

Social Studies/Science:
State Look Books were fun to listen to this week from everyone.  We will be finishing up the midwest when we get back from spring break.  We have also been learning in science about why systems fail in the electrical system.  We are coming to an end of our energy unit in science and hopefully will have a reason why Ergstown is having blackouts.

Math:
We have started unit 6 this week. We will continue when we get back from spring break.  We are learning all about multiplication and division strategies.
