We will start the year with Social Studies and dive into studying the Northeast region.   We learned about Niagara Falls this week and will learn about resources in the Northeast next week.  They had their first test on the Northeast today- look for their grade this weekend!

Mrs. Olsen's Math Class:
We did a few activities this past week on using different strategies to find multiplication and division problems- number lines, ratio tables, area models, and making arrays.  We will continue next week with more on factors, prime and composite numbers, and multiplication and division strategies. I collected their homework today and will be taking their first grade on it.  You can look for the score this weekend once I get them graded on schoolnet. :)

Important Info:

MAPS testing is completed!  They did great!
We will have some common reading and math assessments over the next 2 weeks we will be doing in class on their chromebooks, so please make sure they come everyday charged.
